24 Apr A 2000-foot Green Beam Laser Receiver
The new LR40G receiver from Bosch is designed to let the company’s GRL4000-90CHVG rotary laser detect up to 2,000 feet. It has a backlit LCD display that can be read from the front or back of the receiver, and built-in X and Y-axes buttons that allows for elevation and cut-and-fill calculations in both axes up to ±8.5%.
The display has large, easy-to-see indicators, including up/down arrows, center line, accuracy level, battery levels and audio signal. It also has LED indicators, to provide easy visual readout and simple operation. The oversized laser detection area helps find the laser beam faster, making it easier to start setting level. And there are built-in magnets for secure attachment to metal surfaces, an adjustable audio indicator, an intuitive six-button keypad, a receiver vial, an attachment hook, and an ergonomic soft grip.
It takes two AA batteries (included) and there’s an adjustable audio indicator that provides a clear signal of on-grade position and precise plus/minus control. Measuring just 6.9” long and 3” wide, the 0.84 lbs. receiver has an automatic shut-off, an IP 67 rating for endurance, and receives in green.
