01 Jul A 6-1/2″ Cordless Saw from Metabo
The new saw (item KS 18 LTX 66 BL) is a high-torque, lightweight tool for universal construction site use. The aluminum base plate can be used directly on guide rails by Metabo and other manufacturers, and users can make quick, precise crosscuts by easily connecting to a Metabo KFS miter rail. The LiHD high-power battery packs and the Metabo brushless motor guarantee maximum pulling power and long-lasting performance.
Woodworkers can automatically switch the connected vacuum on and off using the company’s CordlessControl optional accessory. The sawdust ejection nozzle can be turned and locked in any position, and there’s an integrated LED worklight. This is thoughtful: the 0° position is adjustable in case it’s off a hair. There’s a clearly visible cutting indicator for precise sawing after the initial cut, an aluminum diecast saw housing, and a handle with a non-slip soft-grip surface. This product can be used with all 18-volt battery packs and chargers from CAS brands.
The maximum cutting depth at 90 degrees is 2-19/32” and the no-load RPM rating is 4800. The saw comes with an 18-tooth carbide blade, a short parallel guide/rip fence (see top photo), a hex wrench and a metaBOX 340 container.
The battery and charger are sold separately.
