A Compact Bench with Superior Work-holding

The Swedish manufacturer Sjöbergs has been building top quality woodworking benches for more than 65 years. The company’s latest product, the Multifunction model 1060 (catalog item number 33820), is a beechwood bench with lots of ¾” dog holes. The idea for the bench came from an instrument manufacturing company that needed more bench dogs to vary the ways that they secured parts. When used with this bench, Sjöbergs’ ST11 holdfasts allow for infinite top-side possibilities, and the bench is also fitted with front and rear vices. The bench is 46-27/32” long, 19-21/32” wide and 35-7/16” tall. The vise can handle stock up to 4-1/2” thick.
