03 Jun A Cordless Biscuit Joiner from DeWALT
The new brushless DCW682B is part of the DeWALT® 20V MAX* battery system and the premium XR® lineup of tools. It handles #0, #10, and #20 biscuits using tool-free adjustment features. At just 5.5 lbs. (tool only), it’s a handy addition to any shop or jobsite. The battery and charger are sold separately.
The brushless motor provides powerful and consistent cutting performance for most common biscuit sizes. There’s a dual rack & pinion fence design along with tool-free depth, height, and bevel adjustments. The depth selection knob adjusts easily between biscuit sizes and the fence is easily adjusted for bevels from zero to ninety degrees. The paddle switch design accommodates both left- and right-handed users, and an electric brake quickly stops the blade after the trigger is released.
There are retractable anti-slip pins that assist in holding material in place, and the dust port is compatible with DeWALT’s AirLock™ system or a standard 35 mm dust extractor. The tool takes a 4” blade (included), and comes with a 3-year limited warranty, 1 year of free service, and a 90 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. The maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts, and the nominal voltage is 18. WoodEzine has seen it on The Toolnut website for $289.
