28 May A Serious Entry-Level Router with an Optional 3-Position Tool Changer
The new Innovator CNC Router from AXYZ was introduced about six months ago and is available in two standard sizes (4’ x 4’ and 5’ x 8’). It has a gantry clearance of 6” and offers full-scale capability in a smaller footprint. Compact in size yet powerful, it offers educators a new curriculum option for basic CNC training. It is also ideal for sign and graphics tasks where it can process 2D and 3D signs in woods, metals, and plastics. And for prototype builders and one-off furniture makers, it takes the guesswork out of projects. Plus, it is versatile enough to fabricate all types of general wood products for the furniture and cabinetry markets.
The Innovator has a heavy-duty frame with cast gantry legs, integrated servo motors replacing stepper servos for smoother motion and higher speeds, premium helical racks, and easy upgradability.
This entry-level industrial CNC router replaces AXYZ’s legacy Z-Series model, offering a significant increase in performance while including robust construction and high precision accuracy – and does so all a cost-effective price.
The Innovator comes standard with option-ready installation packages so a woodworker can grow the machine along with the business. The exclusive 3 position tool changer (an option) saves valuable time by keeping the machine running continuously without the need for operator input. At the same time, the automated cover protects the toolholders from getting contaminated, reducing maintenance and downtime.
