An 18V Drywall Cut-Out Tool

Ridge Tool Company in Elyria, Ohio has introduced a new 18-Volt drywall cut-out tool (model R84730B) that can be purchased at The Home Depot for $59 (tool only). Maximum RPMs are 28,000 and it has on-board storage for the wrench. It has a compact, ergonomic and lightweight design for all day work and access to tight spaces. The switch location is well thought out, and there’s an LED light. The tool-free depth adjustment makes for quick and easy height changes, and there’s a reversible belt hook for either right or left-handed users. It comes with both 1/8” and ¼” collets, plus two 1/8” drywall bits. Ridgid® brand handheld and stationary power tools have a 3-year Limited Warranty.
