Bi-fold Barn Doors for Cabinets

Osborne Wood Products has added a blog entry to its website about its new barn door hardware. Designed for cabinets and available in various lengths, the hardware is unusual in that the rollers can pivot. So, instead of the door having to be flat and just slide halfway across the opening (so it’s always blocking half the cabinet’s contents), the new hardware lets a woodworker install a pair of bi-fold doors. They just fold up as they are slid to the side, exposing the entire contents of the cabinet. Or for even more access, the hardware roller can lift off the track and swing fully open with just a tiny effort, exposing the full storage area. A light lift on the roller lets you pop it back on the track.
