26 Mar Cordless 18 Volt Table Saw from Ryobi
Big news from Ryobi – the company’s new battery-powered table saw (model PBLTS01K) will be available soon at The Home Depot stores. It’s part of the 18V ONE+ battery system and takes an 8-1/4″ blade. The system combines a brushless motor with advanced electronics, and ‘High Performance’ lithium-ion batteries to deliver the equivalent of corded cutting performance at up to 4500 RPM. It has a 12″ rip cut capacity to the right of the blade, and the ability to rip up to 240 linear feet per charge when using the two included 4Ah (Amp hour) batteries. Additional features include an adjustable self-aligning fence, a rack and pinion blade height adjustment for accurate depth control, and a steel frame that provides added durability and strength. There is also the convenience of integrated on-board storage for all the accessories, and a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The package includes the table saw, a push stick, a blade guard assembly with anti-kickback pawls (no riving knife), a carbide-tipped blade, a miter gauge, wrenches, two batteries and a charger. The dut port diameter is 2-1/2”, the maximum depth of cut at 90 degrees is 2-1/4”, and at 45 degrees it’s 1-3/4”. RYOBI’s 18V ONE+ collection now includes over 260 unique products that all work on the same battery system.
