GCG18V-29 Cordless Caulk and Adhesive Gun from Bosch

Cordless Caulk and Adhesive Gun from Bosch

If you own a Bosch 18 Volt battery and use a caulk gun in your woodworking, the company’s new GCG18V-29 Caulk and Adhesive Gun may be just what you need. It’s designed to reduce hand fatigue from pumping manual caulk and adhesive guns, and it has speed selection and a variable-speed trigger for a consistent bead size and easier caulk application. It also has an auto-reverse feature on the plunger rod that reverses the plunger after the trigger is released, to help prevent dripping and material overflow

The gun holds 29 oz. tubes and delivers a no-load max of 18 inches per minute feed and 790 lbs. of push force. That will push even high-viscosity adhesives, including anchor adhesives for concrete. The cage rotates 360 degrees, so that material can be applied in difficult areas while the operator maintains his/her preferred hand location. And at only 5 lbs. (tool only, not including battery) it’s lightweight enough for all-day work.

The GCG18V-29 is compatible with Bosch 18V Lithium-ion batteries, has a hook (strap loop) for hanging between jobs, and has a lockout switch so the trigger won’t be accidentally activated. There are nine speed settings that allow for control with various types of materials and applications. The cage style design allows for faster tube changes. The gun is 10” tall, 23” long and 3” wide.
