13 Dec Craftsman Announces Redesigned Metal Storage Solutions
Craftsman™ has announced a redesign of its S2000 series of metal storage solutions that are manufactured in Sedalia, Missouri. The series is keeping its iconic design, while adding to its classic features such as soft closing ball bearing drawers. The new updates include I-Frame construction with bumpers, integrated pegboard holes, upgraded casters, center access power strips, and included drawer liners.
The redesigned CRAFTSMAN S2000 Series units include a 26” wide four-drawer tool chest (CMST98267RB, $269), a 26” five-drawer rolling tool cabinet (CMST98268RB, $299), a 41” six-drawer tool chest (CMST98269RB, $339), a 41” ten-drawer rolling cabinet (CMST98270RB, $459), a 41” seven-drawer workstation (CMST98271RB, $429), a 52” eight-drawer chest (CMST98272RB, $409) and a 52” ten-drawer rolling tool cabinet (CMST98273RB, $519).
All these units are available in red or black and a variety of configurations which include updated features such as pegboard for storage customization, upgraded casters with toe locking brakes that support a 1500-Lb. overall load rating, the steel I-Frame construction with bumpers added to the chests to help increase durability, full-grip telescoping chest and tubular cabinet handles for mobility, pre-cut non-slide drawer liners, and an internal locking system with an over-molded Craftsman logo key. The company has been part of woodworking since 1927.
