28 Mar Craftsman Introduces a 21-degree Cordless Framing Nailgun
Craftsman recently released both a 16-gauge finish nailer (CMCN616C1) and an 18-gauge brad nailer (CMCN618C1), both of which run on the company’s V20* battery. Those tools have now been joined by a brushless, cordless 21-degree plastic collated framing nailer (CMCN621PLB). It can sink full round head nails into a variety of lumber materials, including laminated veneer lumber, from 2” up to 3-1/4”. It has tool-free depth adjustment and is sold as tool only (no battery and charger). There’s a rafter hook for ease of use, and it’s Versatrack™ compatible (clip and accessories sold separately). Versatrack rails mount to drywall, studs or masonry and can hold up to 75 lbs. per linear foot. Craftsman hooks securely latch to the rails with the patented Hooktite latching system. The magazine of the new nailgun holds up to 49 nails. Woodezine couldn’t find this tool in stores yet, but it’s already on the Craftsman website so it should be available soon.
