29 Dec DeWalt Quick Change Stud and Joist Drill
The new DCD443B from DeWalt is a brushless, cordless 7/16” right-angle drill that runs on the company’s 20V MAX* XR® battery system. The tool has integrated Power Detect™ technology, which was designed to optimize its output when used with high-capacity XR® batteries. A woodworker can easily swap bits with the hex quick-change chuck and maintain high productivity with almost no downtime. An E-Clutch® system shuts down the tool in a bind-up situation.
The drill can complete up to four hundred 7/8” holes per charge and is available as a tool only, or as a kit with batteries and charger. It will drill up to 4” diameter with a hole saw and up to 2-9/16” with a self-feed bit. This tool can accept a DeWalt Tool Connect™ chip (not included) that allows for monitoring and pinpointing of the drill location on the jobsite. The tool measures 6.8” tall and 16.3” long, and weighs 8.6 lbs.
