Duplex Nail-gun for Temp Bracing, Concrete Forms, Scaffolding

A new 36 Volt, 21-degree cordless, brushless, duplex nail-gun (model NR3675DD) is part of Metabo’s MultiVolt™ battery system. Tools in the system will accept a 36V battery or they can also be plugged into an outlet with an included AC adapter. The company says this is the industry’s first cordless duplex nail-gun. Metabo’s unique Air Spring Drive produces a feeling similar to using a pneumatic nail-gun, and the new tool can drive up to nine hundred 16D (3-1/2″) duplex nails per charge with the included 2.5Ah battery. For bigger jobs, woodworkers can upgrade to a 4.0Ah battery and drive up to 1,200 duplex nails on a single charge. The simplified control panel is easy to read and select between single fire or bump fire modes. There’s a dry-fire lockout that prevents the gun from driving when fasteners are low, and it has a tool-free depth-of-drive adjustment for precise fastener setting. Other features include a side lock switch to prevent accidental firing, and a pivoting belt hook. For a limited time (the website says until December 31st 2020), Metabo is offering a free 36V hammer drill kit (model DV36DA) with the purchase of the new duplex nail-gun.
