Hose Adaptor & Blast Gate

Visit

The new Dust Right StableGate™ blast gates from Rockler let a small shop woodworker attach a shop vacuum (2-1/2″ diameter) hose to a 4″ outlet, pipe or hose. The idea here to allow the operator to hook up small benchtop tools or even portable sanders, biscuit joiners and the like to a central dust collector or a more powerful portable collector. And because the adaptor is also a blast gate, it can be slid closed when it’s not needed to maximize suction for larger machines. The integrated bracket is for securing the blast gate to the wall for stability, which means that the gate has easy, flex-free opening and closing. (Item 64142, listed at $8.49 each in early July, 2020.)
