Marking, Striking and Measurement Sets

Woodcraft has introduced several sets of marking tools made by the U.J. Ramelson company in Newark, New Jersey. The factory is best known for carving and whittling tools, and it has been family owned for several generations. Among the new sets is a 7-piece grouping (item 175486) that includes a mortise marking gauge with a single brass pin and a brass thumb screw; an 8” compass with a carbide scribe; a 9” sliding bevel; a marking knife; two angled chisel knives and a scratch awl. Woodcraft is also offering smaller sets with four and five tools so woodworkers can pick and choose the tools they need. The four sets range from $39.99 to $74.99.
