Milwaukee Expands Its Hammer Line

Milwaukee® is adding three new steel hammers, so the company will now offer eleven tools as of sometime in June. The new lineup will now include both 16oz (item 48-22-9018, $19.97) and 20oz (item 48-22-9020, $24.97) smooth-faced steel hammers, and a 28oz tool (item 48-22-9029, $29.97) with a milled waffle face. The hammers have a precision-balanced design that provides smooth striking power, along with an I-Beam handle to resist bending. Their best-in-class Shockshield™ grip fights fatigue and the company says it reduces vibration by up to ten times more than the competition and is the most durable grip in the industry. A magnetic nail set on top of the head lets a woodworker set nails one-handed, while the hybrid claw is designed for easier nail pulling applications. An anti-ring rip claw on the two larger hammers also minimizes ringing when striking hard objects. The 16oz hammer is 13.2” long, the 20oz is 14.2”, and the 28oz is 16.2”.
