Milwaukee’s New Multi-Tool

The new oscillating multi-tool comes as a tool only (2526-20) or as a complete kit (2526-21XC). Among its appealing features are the fastest 12V cut speed on the market, the lowest full-tool vibration, and tool-free blade changes for faster accessory changes and no misplaced tools. The Powerstate™ brushless motor delivers 10,000 to 20,000 orbits per minute (OPM) while maintaining its speed under load better than the competition. The vibration isolating tool design minimizes vibration, making cuts more comfortable with less fatigue. This tool has Milwaukee’s Redlink Plus™ Intelligence on board, which “ensures unmatched levels of performance, protection, and compatibility.” The company says its M12™ Redlithium™ XC4.0 battery delivers the most work of any 12V battery on the market. The tool has a 12-setting dial that lets woodworkers adjust the speed to the application, and there’s an integrated LED light for maximum visibility. The kit includes a wood blade and the sanding pad with four different grit papers along with the battery, charger and bag.
