02 Jan New Festool Systainer Options Coming in February
The first point that Festool makes about its wide range of Systainer tool and parts storage system is that it is 100% mobile. It provides quick and efficient transportation of all tools and materials in the workshop and on the construction site. The woodworker has everything to hand and organized in the best possible manner. It’s… simply, practical. Tools, accessories and consumables are optimally protected, clearly stored and, thanks to T-LOCs, the container can be closed, opened and connected in a single movement. Systainer products are compatible with one another and can be connected to all previous Systainer generations plus Festool’s mobile dust extractors and many other system accessories.
In February, the company will release almost two dozen new Systainers, plus a cart and some new rails. Several of the units in the photo will be available in taller versions, to house larger tools, parts or supplies. One of the new units is an open-top toolbox complete with a handle that folds, so that this unit can become part of the system and be connected. Other units come with transparent tops and lots of little organizer boxes that can be customized. And if a woodworker needs more of those, they’re available. There’s even a clever new wooden insert for organizing tools in one of the taller Systainers. Woodworkers can find a local dealer on the Festool website.
