Print Directly on Plywood, MDF

For woodshops making signs, the Arizona 1300 Series is a large format UV flatbed printer from Canon Solutions America. It has true flatbed architecture for high quality printing on rigid substrates up to 2 inches thick, and it also allows printing on irregularly shaped items. There’s an instant-on curing system that eliminates wait time before you can start printing, and the bed comes in a choice of either 4’x8′ or 8’x10′ formats. The 1300 is available with a choice of 4, 6 or 8 ink channels, so a shop can start with a 4-channel Arizona 1340 or a 6 channel Arizona 1360 and later upgrade as business needs evolve by adding additional ink channels (up to a maximum of 8). Besides CMYK, these extra channels support Canon’s brightest white ink ever, and an optically clear varnish. The 8 channel Arizona 1380 adds additional support for light cyan and light magenta, for enhanced image quality.
