19 Dec Ryobi’s New Cordless, Brushless 7-1/4″ Circular Saw
Ryobi says that the brushless motor in its soon to be released new 18 Volt circular saw (model PBLCS300B) will deliver up to 40% faster cutting compared to its standard P507 model, when cutting 2″X12″ yellow pine. The saw will make more than 325 cuts per charge using an 18V ONE+ 6Ah battery, when cutting 2″X4″ pine. It’s also one of the most versatile tools out there, offering 0 to 56° bevel capacity and an adjustable depth of cut up to 2-7/16″ at 0° and 1-3/4″ at 45°. And it’s tough, with a die-cast upper guard. The saw comes with a vacuum dust adaptor that is compatible with 1-7/8″ and 1-1/4″ shop vacuum hoses. It runs at 4300 RPM, has a standard 5/8” arbor, accepts blades up to 7-1/4″ diameter, and comes with a 3-year warranty. The saw will ship with a 24-tooth thin kerf blade, a hex wrench and the vacuum dust adaptor. It will be available soon at The Home Depot.
