The New M12 Rover Floodlight

Coming in the next few weeks, Milwaukee Tool’s new floodlight (item 2367-20) uses the company’s standard M12™ battery for power and delivers a hefty 700 lumens of light on the jobsite. It will run up to 24 hours on a 4 Ah charge, weighs in at just 0.7 lbs. (without the battery), and measures 6.6” x 2.5” x 3.6. Called the Rover, it has a 2.1 Amp USB port for device charging. The light head pivots 110 degrees, and the unit has a strong rear-facing magnet to easily attach it to jobsite surfaces such as steel studs, I-Beams, and job boxes. There’s an integrated keyhole for hanging on non-metallic surfaces. The light is also optimized for handheld use and can withstand the toughest jobsite conditions (it carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance). The Rover has an impact resistant lens to protect the LEDs and can withstand up to a 9-foot drop. Its streamlined base gives woodworkers a handheld option for inspection lighting. Rover comes with a 5yr tool and limited lifetime LED warranty.
