15 Nov Three New Compressors from Grizzly Pro
The smallest of the three new compressors, the T32447 ($769 + $179 freight) is a 30-gallon, 1.6 HP portable unit. It’s built with a high flow regulator which supplies more torque to tools, so it’s perfect for jobs such as removing rusted bolts or finish nailing, hobby painting and medium duty framing or roofing. It operates with a maximum pressure of 155 PSI and delivers 5.3 CFM at 90 PSI and 6.2 CFM at 40 PSI. The motor has been prewired to run on 120 Volts, but it can be converted to run on 240V. If the motor overheats, a thermal overload protector will shut it off. The 30-gallon vertical air tank has been ASME certified to meet safety and quality standards. The cast-iron, oil-lubricated dual cylinder compressor pump provides exceptionally long life and performance, and twin air intake filters clean the air entering the pump. There’s a tank pressure gauge to measure reserve air pressure, and an output pressure gauge that measures the air pressure available at the outlet side of the regulator. The unit has 10″ pneumatic wheels for maximum mobility, and a universal quick connect that makes one handed connection simple and easy. The T32447 comes with a 1-year parts warranty. The overall size is 48″ tall x 24-1/8″ wide x 22″ deep, and the approximate shipping weight is 159 lbs. It’s made and assembled in the USA, with global parts.
Next up is the G0929 stationary compressor ($1,479, + $239 freight), which has an 80-gallon tank and a 4.7 HP motor. It operates with a maximum pressure of 155 PSI and delivers an impressive 14 CFM at 90 PSI and 16.1 CFM at 40 PSI. The motor senses both temperature and current, and a wired-formed belt guard provides more efficient cooling to keep the unit from overheating. The 3-cylinder, heavy-duty cast-iron, high-flow pump is oil-lubricated for long-life and low maintenance. All controls are housed within the compressor mounting deck, and they include two quick connect fittings and dual pressure gauges. Checking the oil level just requires looking through a sight glass. The G0929 also comes with a 1-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects. The overall size is 77″ x 34-3/4″ x 31-1/2″ and the approximate shipping weight is 350 lbs.
Last but hardly least, the new Grizzly Pro G0930 is another 80-gallon compressor but this 5 HP unit is part of the company’s Extreme Series. It’s a little more spendy ($2,195 + $239 freight), but it offers high-output performance for maximum air requirements. Designed for commercial and industrial use, it operates with a maximum pressure of 175 PSI and delivers 17.5 CFM at 175 PSI and 17.5 CFM at 100 PSI. The two-stage cast-iron oil-lubricated pump operates at high pressure providing increased volume when you need it. A petcock on the bottom of the tank allows moisture to drain when opened. The approximate shipping weight is 424 lbs.
