03 Apr Use Either Mains or Batteries for this Two-gallon Compressor
The new Metabo HPT EC36DAQ4 is a 36-volt compressor that provides a great solution for finish and trim work. It runs on a MultiVolt battery, or it can be powered with an AC adapter. There’s an impressively short 17 second refill time and a full air tank can drive over a thousand 18-gauge brad nails per charge. With 135 PSI maximum, and weighing only 27.3 lbs., this compressor packs usability into an easily portable package. Finish crews can even run 15-gauge or 16-gauge finish nailers with 1.6 CFM at 90 PSI. There’s an all-metal roll cage design for greater durability, a large on/off knob for easy control (even with gloves), plus two easy-to-read gauges for tank pressure and regulated pressure. The oil-free design means there’s essentially no maintenance, and the brushless motor delivers higher efficiency, increased run time and longer tool lifetime. The compressor comes with a 1/4” brass industrial coupler, and it will run on 2.5 (BSL36A18) or 4 Amp hour (BSL36B18) Metabo brand MultiVolt Li-Ion batteries. The available rapid charger (UC18YSL3) has a USB port.
